Private and Buddy Swim Lessons

Below you will find information about signing up for and participating in swim lessons with Harvard Recreation.

  • Our private swim lesson program is currently full. To be added to our mailing list and be informed when new spots open up, subscribe here! We will only be taking 10 inquiries at time. Once these are fulfilled, more spots will open up!
  • Our instructors will look at all the inquiries and reach out to you directly. Please allow some time for instructors to reach out regarding your inquiries.
  • At this time, we are only offering swim lessons to those eligible for a Recreation Membership.
  • For buddy lessons (2-3 people), everyone participating should fill out their own inquiry form and include the names of all participants in the group.
  • Youth lessons are only available to those 6 and up.
  • When signing up for a multiple lesson package, please be aware that refunds are only given under extenuating circumstances. Work with your instructor and give a detailed availability to ensure you get your money’s worth.
  • Do not pay for swim lessons until you have been contacted by an instructor. Purchasing swim lessons without approval will result in your swim lesson request being pushed to the bottom of the list.
  • If you have any questions regarding swim lessons, please contact the Aquatics Coordinator (MaryGrace Plasko murbani@fas.harvard.edu).

  • After coordinating with your instructor, decide which package is right for you, then pay online via a link given to you by your instructor.

Can I specify an instructor?

  • If we have an instructor on staff that you know you would like to work with, please put their name in the final box on the inquiry form regarding availability.

What facilities will be available?
