2025 Club Sport and IMS Awards

We are thrilled to announce and honor the 2025 recipients of Harvard Recreation's annual Club and Intramural Sport awards! These outstanding student-athletes have demonstrated incredible talent, leadership, sportsmanship, and commitment, leaving a lasting impact on our community.

All award winners will be celebrated at the Intramural & Club Sport Spring Celebration on Tuesday, May 6th, from 2:00–4:00 PM at Lavietes Quad.

Here's a closer look at this year's honorees:

2025 Club Sport Athletes of the Year (Co-Winners)

This award honors student-athletes who epitomize exceptional talent and unwavering commitment within Harvard's club sports community. Through athletic excellence, leadership, and teamwork, these individuals inspire teammates and strengthen the spirit of Harvard Club Sports.

Jessica Lee '25 — Harvard Quadball Club

"Jess is the epitome of everything that a Harvard club sport athlete should embody. With unwavering optimism, passion, and sportsmanship, Jess has led the Quadball Club in what can only be described as a masterclass in leadership. Her presence on and off the field makes practices fun, inclusive, and inspiring for everyone involved.

What truly sets Jess apart is her rare combination of athletic excellence and community-building skills. The Quadball Club is one of the most successful club sports at Harvard right now, and that is entirely because of Jessica Lee's extraordinary commitment, talent, and leadership."

"Spencer led the Classics with heart, hustle, and humility."

2025 Intramural Athletes of the Year (Co-Winners)

Awarded to student-athletes who embody the spirit and values of Harvard's House Intramural Program through athletic ability, leadership, and a commitment to inclusivity.

Ethan Hooper '25 — Kirkland House

"Ethan has been a driving force behind the energy and spirit of House Intramurals. As program commissioner, he's shown relentless dedication to making the IM experience fun, inclusive, and organized for everyone involved. Thanks to Ethan's passion and vision, the IM community is stronger and more connected."

Alexander Stone '26 — Currier House

2025 Intramural Referee of the Year:

Presented to the student referee who exemplifies fairness, consistency, and leadership, ensuring a positive and competitive atmosphere for all players.

Jason Kwak '26 — Winthrop House

"Jason is the most dedicated, passionate, and inspiring referee I've ever seen. His commitment to the game is unmatched. He dons his neon yellow shirt and red whistle with overwhelming pride. I can't think of anyone more deserving of this award."
