Harvard Table Tennis Club Shines at Nationals, Wins Multiple Events
The Harvard Table Tennis Club's competitive team delivered an impressive performance at the 2025 NCTTA Nationals, held April 4–6 in Rockford, Illinois. Facing off against top collegiate talent from across the country, Harvard secured top-three finishes in multiple events—an extraordinary milestone, as it marks the club's most successful Nationals run in over 15 years.
Tournament Highlights:
-
Kelly Yenn '28 took home the women's singles title, showcasing poise and power in her debut year.
-
The women's team finished in the top three in the team event, demonstrating both individual talent and teamwork.
-
Jingting Lin, a first-year graduate student, made history by winning the inaugural Peaka Pong hardbat event, a new addition to the Nationals.
-
The duo of Marianne Wang '28 and Jingting Lin also advanced to the quarterfinals in women's doubles, rounding out a stellar performance.
The tournament also served as a mini-reunion, as the team was joined by former club president Alex Zhou '23, who volunteered at the event. Zhou led the team in their previous Nationals appearance in 2022, and his continued support reflects the strong community built around the club.
