Overview: Founded by Stacy Rush and Alana
Biden (2009). The Harvard Quidditch Team seeks to reach out
to Witches and Wizards alike to join in the noble sport of
Quidditch. Together we stand strong and fight hard-won,
bloody battles against other teams comprised of death eaters and
dementors. We train for many hours each day in the hopes of
spreading the love of Harry Potter to one and all. Our team
in non-exclusive; any Potter fan can join. This sport has
been adapted from J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter novels to be suitable
for muggle players. The positions on the team are chasers,
beaters, a keeper and a seeker. The chaser's job is to score
points in the hoops at the end of the field, which are guarded by
the opposing keeper. The beater throws balls at opposing
players in order to knock them out of play. The seeker's job
is to snatch a tennis ball from a cross country runner who is
dressed in yellow. Collectively we aim to crush our opponents
into a fine pulp and spread the noble name of Potter. Go
fight win!
