Overview: On May 15, 2009 the Harvard Club
Hockey Team was founded to allow Harvard students to compete at a
club hockey level. While the Harvard Club Hockey team seeks to
enrich the lives of its players by allowing them to play collegiate
hockey and by creating lasting friendships, its ultimate goal is to
compete for the national championship.
As a member of the American Collegiate Hockey Association D-II,
we play a strong schedule against other colleges in the area.
Recent games have been played against Boston College, Boston
University, Dartmouth College, University of Pennsylvania, Brown
University, MIT, Bridgewater State University, and Merrimack
College. We have founded a Club Hockey Beanpot and look to
introduce a Club Hockey Ivy League Championship in the 2010-2011
Season. A typical week will have practices on Monday and Wednesday
nights at Harvard University's Bright Hockey Center with games
on Saturday. We are committed to the college experience and want
our athletes to excel academically and have extracurricular
interests other than hockey. Many of our athletes also compete for
Harvard on the varsity level in other sports.
