Program
Membership Facilities
The squash recreational program is
available to Harvard students, faculty, staff, alumni and their
guests by paying an annual membership fee. Beginning in 2009, all
affiliates wishing to play squash at Harvard must purchase an
Athletic Membership. Customers now have two options for playing
squash at Harvard:
1) By purchasing an Athletic Membership
members can play squash throughout the year at the following two
facilities:

add-on for an additional fee members can also play squash at the

Purchasing a
Membership
Harvard affiliates with a
Harvard ID can now purchase their athletic membership and squash
access online by clicking here.
If you
do not have a Harvard ID or if you would like to purchase a family
membership you must go in person to the Harvard Athletic Ticket
Office: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
Friend of Harvard Sponsor
Membership (Murr Center squash membership only)
- Harvard
affiliates are allowed to sponsor up to three Non-Harvard
individuals for a Murr squash membership. Harvard gym facilities
are not available for general public use.
- Harvard
Affiliates are defined as - All Harvard employees, Undergraduate
students, Graduate students, Alumni, WGBH Employees, and respective
spouses/partners.
Friend
of Harvard Sponsor Membership Price: Full Year- $75
The
Friend of Harvard Sponsor Memberships are sold Monday - Friday,
10am - 5pm. To purchase a Friend of Harvard Sponsor
Membership you must come in person to the Murr Center Front
Desk with your sponsor
(located
in the Ellen and Melvin Gordon Conditioning Center).

Squash at
Hemenway Gymnasium
NEW! Updated
Reservation Protocols:
The online squash court reservation system is LIVE! Court
reservations must be made online. Making an online reservation can
be done in just a few simple steps! Reservations can be made using
any computer including the new kiosk located in the Hemenway lobby.
First time
users:
- Go to: http://www.supersaas.com/schedule/Hemenway_Squash/Squash
- Fill in your information to create an account (you need not use
a Harvard email address)
- You will receive an email from "Harvard". Click on the
link in the email to activate your account.
- Log in
- Follow the instructions to make a reservation
Returning
users:
- Go to: http://www.supersaas.com/schedule/Hemenway_Squash/Squash
- Log in
- Follow the instructions to make a reservation
Squash Policy
Rules
1. Signups are for 1 HOUR
2. Reservations can be made online
72 hours in advance
3. Only one 1-hour slot may be
reserved per person per day.
4. The online reservation system
only applies to the courts at Hemenway Gymnasium.
5. We expect that you will cancel
your slot if and when you decide you no longer wish to play at your
reserved time.
6. If the court is vacant at 10
minutes past the hour the reservation is forfeited. At that point
the court is first come first serve. In the event the court is not
reserved, all members can share the space with each other until
someone arrives to play squash.
To cancel a
reservation:
- Sign in at: http://www.supersaas.com/schedule/Hemenway_Squash/Squash
- Click on the slot in which you made your reservation.
- In the pop-up window, click on the little pencil and paper
icon.
- Click "Delete reservation".

Facility
Policies
- A
Harvard Affiliate must accompany any guests at all times.
- No dark soled
shoes are allowed on the courts
- Children
age 16 and under are not allowed in the tennis and squash
facilities unaccompanied unless participating in a supervised
racquet activity (lessons, clinics, etc.)
- Running,
yelling, or other disruptive behavior will not be permitted.
- The
Harvard University Department of Athletics is not responsible for
lost or stolen items. Please check the lost and found located at
each facility service desk.
- Racquet
Facilities are scheduled with Harvard University intercollegiate
teams receiving priority. During the academic year, the Murr Center
tennis and squash courts are closed for varsity practice M-F
2:00-6:30pm. During this time there is no recreational tennis
or squash available at the Murr Center.
- Court
use is subject to availability and all schedules are subject to
change without notice.
- Racquet
facility personnel reserve the right to revoke patron memberships
if rules and regulations of the facility are not followed.
