What is Harvard Trim & Fit (HTF)?

Originally designed as a follow-up program to Harvard Slim Down, HTF will include classes that meet once weekly to encourage you to continue on you path to the healthier new you. Harvard Slim Down is not a prerequisite. This class is for anyone who meets the following criteria: HTF is for the intermediate exerciser, who has a basic knowledge of correct exercise form (can perform squats, lunges and planks with proper form), and has a basic fitness base (can tolerate 20 consecutive minutes of moderate-level cardiovascular exercise). If you do not have the basic knowledge of correct exercise form and/or do not have a basic fitness base, then please consider taking Harvard Slim Down, or trying one of our small group personal training classes.

  •    you've successfully completed HSD, and are ready for the next step (less commitment, less money, but you still need the accountability)
  •    you find the general group exercise classes to be a bit too intense and want classes that are a little more geared to the intermediate exerciser.
  •    you want to work out with others who are like you & who have similar goals to yours
  •    you need more accountability & motivation than you get from general group exercise  classes
  •   you need help staying on track outside of class time
