TFC FINAL RESULTS
Thank you for your un-ending
patience and team sport with this years Team Fitness Challenge!
We have tallied, re-tallied and re-checked the final minutes for
all 50 teams.
EVERYONE who participated is a winner and making health and
fitness a goal in your everyday life is an invaluable gift to
yourself!
Over the 6-weeks we have seen some teams step it up, while other
team lost steam.
The top three teams have all ranked in the top ten teams EVERY
week.
and NOW.......Starting with the third place team (in
Accumulated minutes).........
The Third place is Team #4 "The Bad AADS" with 24,079
accumulated points.
Contributing members include Cordy Elkins, Katy Corrado, Meredith
Falzone, Justin Call, Collete Wixom-Call, Denise Bousquet, and Ted
Ahrens.
The Second place is Team #2 "GTL: Gym, Treadmill &
Law" with 25,050 accumulated points.
Contributing members include Andrew Yahkind, Stephen Ball, Matt
Carpenter-Dennis, Luke Frankson, Mark Samburg, Miriam Weiler,
Dominique Winters and Connie Wu.
AND in FIRST place for the 6-week Team Fitness Challenge is Team
#14 "Re-Living the Honkey
Tonk Dream" with 32,200 accumulated points!
Contributing members include Jennifer Lambert, Jamarri Ivy,
Rebecca Leventhal, Alex Logemann, Helen Rogers and Orklando
Segura.
We are attaching the final results and the top three teams
(mentioned above) will be contacted regarding their prizes!

Official Rules for Team Fitness Challenge 2010*
Each team must consist of 6-8 people and have a team name and team
captain
Each member must log their own fitness minutes daily and send
their totals to their team captain by each Wednesday at 6am. You
can email it everyday, every few days or once a week, what ever
works best for your team captain!
Team Captains must send their team's total minutes for each team
member and the whole team using the specified Excel spreadsheet
each Wednesday (starting 2/10/10) at 12pm *MINUTES TURNED IN ANY
LATER WILL NOT BE COUNTED AT ALL!
Bonus minutes can go above and beyond the daily limit of 90
minutes (i.e. if you took did cardio for 30 minutes and took the
weekly bonus class for 55 minutes, the 60 bonus points makes your
daily total 115 minutes. BUT you must indicate the bonus points
separately on the excel sheet per the instructions). Team members
get double minutes for Personal Training sessions
A team can earn 60 Bonus minutes if 3 or more team members attend
any GX class together. The team captains have specific details that
must be included in the Excel Spread sheet, such as (your
names, the name of the class or trainer, time, date, day and
Location)
Please put your team name in the Subject line of your email when
sending your weekly team points to the Gmail account
*Additional bonus points will be given for participating in the
following classes or events:*
**March 1st-7th: Double minutes for attending Indoor Cycling*
**March 8th-14th: Double minutes for participating in the Indoor
Biathlon on Monday, 3/8 from 6:00-8:00pm at Hemenway Gymnasium.
Details will follow!*
**Fitness minutes from any Harvard Recreation facility are counted
(i.e. the MAC, Blodgett Pool, Hemenway, MURR, QRAC, Gordon Track,
etc.)*
**If a team member goes for a run or walk, she/he must sign/swipe
in and out at one of the above facilities*
