Triathlon Training







Aqua Ballet (55 min class) REGISTER HERE

Maintain graceful posture and port de bras (carriage of the arms), strengthen the core, develop quickness and control of your legs and feet, and increase overall flexibility.  The format of traditional ballet & Pilates practice are adapted to the pool, using the wall as a barre and continuing with center work.  Beginners will learn ballet basics and advanced dancers will take relevés, développés and jetés to new heights. (Non-swimmers and all levels of dancers welcome!)

Beginner Swim (55 min Class) REGISTER HERE
Participants will learn essential breathing techniques in shallow water and develop confidence floating, gliding & treading.  Set a foundation of freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and safety strokes skills and prepare for deep water.

Crimson Triathlon Training (2 hours) REGISTER HERE

Whether training for triathlon session or just looking for a good workout, this two hour class will help you build speed, endurance and strength for all three elements of your competition!

Come prepared for a mini triathlon “anchor” workout starting with a swim, followed by cycling and running. Class will introduce techniques to improve distance freestyle and open water swimming, include progressive cycling and running workouts, cover transition skills and discuss race strategies.

Building Speed and Endurance in Freestyle: Section 1  (75 min class) REGISTER HERE

This fun and challenging workout class is designed to introduce the intermediate-level swimmer to drills and swim sets that will build efficiency, speed and endurance. Flip turns included. Deep water comfort required.  Fins are recommended (instructor will advise).

Intermediate Swim: All Strokes Workout  Section I (75 min class) REGISTER HERE

This swim class is for swimmers with rudimentary freestyle and deep water comfort.  You will learn backstroke, breast stroke and butterfly in this class.  Drills and swim sets will help refine your new strokes. Deep water comfort required.  Fins are recommended. (Instructor will advise).
