WHAT IS TRX TRAINING?


Born in the U.S. Navy SEALS, Suspension Training® is a revolutionary method of
leveraged bodyweight exercise. Safely perform hundreds of exercises that build power,
strength, flexibility, balance, mobility, and prevent injuries, all at the intensity
you choose.

TRX Express:


 Engage all of your muscles in this non-stop TRX workout. TRX Express is a 30 minute class, but don’t be fooled – it will challenge the beginners and advanced alike!

TRX Blast: 

 A great class for those looking to get a very complete and thorough upper and lower body workout. Build overall strength, balance & flexibility with this total-body conditioning program.
 
Blast is a 45-minute class.
Cost for 4 week session:

TRX Meets Pilates:
 
TRX &Pilates get together for a fast and flowing 45 minute core-building workout.  Experienced Pilates teacher MJ Kenny, cooks up a magical blend of a TRX workout integrated with Pilates Method exercises & cues. If you know you like Pilates but want to take it a little higher, then experience a whole new level by adding suspension-training.  If you’ve tried TRX, now try getting a little deeper into what we love about suspension-training:   the core & balance aspects which make it so challenging & powerful.  This is such a great way to build core balance and strength!
 
Cost for 4 week session:
Students:  $46
Non-students:  $58
 
Wednesdays at MAC, May 1 to May 22, 2013
Time: 7:15 – 8:10 am *Please note AM time!

Please note: purchasing specialty classes does not give you facility access. 

You must have recreation facility membership in order to participate.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

 You must register for TRX classes online between April 8th-25th.

Late registration will be accepted (after 4/25) if space is available, however there will be a $10 late registration penalty for all registration on and after 4/26.

Payment is due upon registration. We accept AMEX, Discover, Visa & MC. Sorry no checks or term-billing. Early registration is encouraged as space is limited. Course fees will not be prorated.

Refunds are granted at the discretion of Management and only prior to the registration deadline (4/25). Otherwise credit may be applied toward another Hemenway program or service.

A minimum of 4 participants is required to offer each TRX class. Register early to avoid class   cancellation due to low enrollment.

Please wear appropriate workout attire and closed toe athletic shows to all fitness courses.
Bring a bottle of water to class.
Arrive promptly at the designated start date of class, if you are more than 10 minutes late you will NOT be permitted to participate.
All classes will take place in either the multi-purpose room at Hemenway Gymnasium or Fitness Room 2 at the MAC.
Please take note of the meeting location, dates & times of each class.

We also offer Private TRX training - One on one training on the TRX. Full body workout with the ability to focus on the specific muscle and movement you most want to target.
