We will focus on basic ballet positions and vocabulary, while paying special attention to posture, core strength and body control.  Beginning with exercises at the ballet barre, we will build an understanding of the movement behind the ballet art form and complete a full class that will consist of short center floor exercises as well as traveling combinations across the floor. This class is for the complete beginner—no shoes, leotards, or tights are required; however comfortable, form-fitting clothing (i.e. yoga pants, T-shirt or tank top) is preferred.

If you are interested in acquiring the basic skills about how to start training towards your first triathlon, including the transitions from one section to the other, then come join our “beyond or after” triathlon, as the prefix ‘meta’ alludes to. We will be working on Schwinn spinning bicycles, indo rowers / ergometers and running on treadmills.
